in Long Beach, Kyra Gracie beat Luanna Alzuguir in the
lightweight finals at
the IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Kyra holds four other gold medals in the Worlds: 2004 (featherweight), 2006
(lightweight), 2008 (lightweight), 2008 (absolute)

Gracie Still Weighing Offers for MMA Debut Kyra
Gracie has already established herself as a top female grappler
and it'll be only time until she makes her move to MMA. But with
no contracts signed, Gracie fans that have been waiting will
have to wait a little bit longer.

Gracie is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black
belt and world champion. She is the daughter of Flavia Gracie
and niece of jiu-jitsu legends Renzo Gracie, Ralph Gracie, and

United States, training
in New York City with her uncle Renzo. Currently, she is preparing for her
2011 MMA debut by training extensively at the Nobre Arte gym in Brazil.
